Jones' Sakyia White, East Central's Christopher Keys earn MACCC Basketball Weekly Awards
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Sakyia White, Jones College

Sakyia White, a 6-foot-1 sophomore forward, averaged 16 points and 15 rebounds for No. 6 Jones College last week. she had 26 points and 15 rebounds in an 81-36 victory over Bishop St. (Alabama). She was 12-of-17 from the floor in that game. She had 6 points and 15 rebounds in an 87-71 loss to top-ranked Trinity Valley (Texas). White has already signed with Florida State University.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Christopher Keys, East Central Community College
(So., F - Quitman, MS, 1)
ECCC's Christopher Keys had a career week as he posted three double-doubles through three games. The 6'7 sophomore from Quitman now has five contests in a row posting double-doubles. He twice scored 19 points last and added 16 points in the third game of the week against Southwest. ECCC went 2-1 with wins over South Arkansas and Southwest.
