Meloney Thames, Jones College

Meloney Thames, a 5-foot-8 sophomore guard from Choctaw Central, had a career-high 35 points in No. 7 Jones College's 86-78 overtime loss to No. 3 Trinity Valley (Texas). She made 5-of-8 3-pointers in that game and added 3 assists and 3 rebounds. She had 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in a 97-51 win over Arkansas State Mid-South.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Julius Ellerbe, East Central Community College

Julius Ellerbe had an electric start to his time as a Warrior. The 6-7 guard from Virginia Beach Sports Academy posted back-to-back triple-doubles in the Warriors' 105-83 and 98-72 victories over Wallace Community College-Selma and William Carey JV. His stat lines were 10 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists in the Selma contest, and 13 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists in the Carey game.
