Bilderback Named WHoopDirt.com JUCO Coach of the Week

(via JCBobcats.com) -- Jones College women's basketball head coach Missy Bilderback has been recognized as the Week 15 WHoopDirt.com Junior College Coach of the Week presented by Pivot Analysis.

Coach Bilderback's Bobcats survived a scare last week to remain unbeaten on the season.

After beginning the week by defeating East Central 70-49, No. 2 Jones found themselves trailing Southwest Mississippi by 14 in the third quarter on Thursday. The Bobcats proceeded to use a 19-0 run to take the lead and never looked back, coming away with a 58-44 victory to keep their perfect season intact.

Jones then defeated Meridian, 79-70, to move to 11-0 overall and 9-0 in the MACCC on the season.

Bilderback is 138-20 (.873) in six seasons with the Bobcats and has led JC to four straight region 23 championships and national tournament appearances.

Bilderback is now eligible to receive the WHoopDirt.com National Coach of the Year Award presented by Pivot Analysis.
