The Warriors' Region 23 Tournament run ended on day three with a 6-4 loss to Jones College. They will await the announcement of the NJCAA DII World Series bracket on May 21 at 10 a.m. to see if they will receive an at-large bid into the national tournament.

Regardless, this has been a historic season for the Warriors. Fifty-one wins are the most in program history. The Warriors began the season on a thirty-one-game win streak.

Jones College got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Cole Manuel hit into a fielder's choice and Hays Carley walked, each scoring one run.

East Central scored 3-2 in the top of the fourth after Mo Little hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, and John Leyton Lewis was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

The Warriors scored one run in the top of the sixth on a solo home run to right field by Trey Bridges.

Jones College took the lead, 6-4, in the bottom of the sixth when Marquette Gibson singled, scoring one run; Wade Fulton hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, and Gatlin Sanders singled, scoring one run.

Brice Deaton earned the win for Jones College. The reliever gave up three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out two and walking two.

Chris Billingsley began the game for EC Warriors. The righty gave up five hits and four runs over five and one-third innings, striking out two and walking five. Eli Walker started the game for Jones College. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking two.

Bridges and Barret Rodgers each collected two hits for the Warriors. Bridges, Lewis, and Little each drove in one run for the EC Warriors. The Warriors turned one double play in the game.
