NEWPORT, Ark. ---- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs avenged their only loss of the season here Saturday with an 85-64 win over Arkansas State University at Newport.
With the win, the Bulldogs went to 11-1 on the season. Holmes returns to action on Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. vs. La. Knights in Goodman.
Holmes led 41-37 at halftime and then outscored the Aviators, 44-27, in the second half.
Cameron Wallace led the Bulldogs with 25 points while K.J.Sykes had 18 and Kylan Clark had 17. Christian Parks finished with 12 rebounds.
