GAME ONE vs. CENTRAL ALABAMA

Hailey Henry played a key role in Northwest Florida State's dominant 12-2 victory over Central Alabama on Saturday, driving in four runs on a single hit. Henry's impact came early, as she blasted a three-run homer to center field in the first inning and later drew a bases-loaded walk in the third to bring in another run.

The Trojans struck first in the opening inning when Morgan Brewer doubled, bringing in two runs. However, the Raiders quickly seized control in the bottom of the first, plating five runs on two hits. Henry's home run was the highlight of the inning, driving in three to give her team a 5-2 lead.

Northwest Florida State extended their advantage in the second inning, adding two more runs on a single to center by Lulu Luedtke. Their offense continued in the third, capitalizing on Henry's Walk and a sacrifice liner from Karson McGowan to push the lead further.

AJ Vineski earned the win in the circle, allowing six hits and two runs over five innings while striking out three and walking one. Emily Lunsford started for the CACC Trojans, surrendering four hits and nine runs (six earned) in three innings, with one strikeout and six walks.

Luedtke led Northwest Florida State's offense with a perfect 2-for-2 performance at the plate, while Henry showed patience, drawing two walks. The team displayed discipline, working six total walks and executing a double play defensively.

Brewer was a bright spot for the Trojans, leading the lineup with two RBIs and a 2-for-3 performance.

GAME TWO vs. CENTRAL ALABAMA

Northwest Florida State pulled off a late-game rally to clinch a 4-3 victory over Copiah-Lincoln on Saturday. With the score tied at three in the bottom of the sixth, Lillie Piersol hit into a fielder's choice, allowing the go-ahead run to score.

Co-Lin struck first in the opening inning when Brelie launched a solo home run to left field.

Northwest Florida State responded in the second inning, taking a 2-1 lead as Piersol singled to drive in two runs. They extended their advantage in the third when Karson McGowan's groundout brought another run across, making it 3-1.

Co-Lin  fought back in the sixth, tying the game at three after Taylor doubled to left field. However, Northwest Florida State regained the lead in the bottom half and held on for the win.

Cailyn Heyl earned the victory, allowing three hits and two runs over five innings with two strikeouts and no walks. Mallory Baker provided relief for the Raiders. Addison got the start for Co-Lin Softball, giving up one hit and two runs in one inning while walking three.
