PERKINSTON — The list of battered bodies grew too long for Mississippi Gulf Coast to overcome. The Bulldogs played a scoreless draw against Pearl River through two overtimes Tuesday.
That result at Bary Thrash Field eliminated them from the MACCC women's soccer playoffs and ended their season.
Gulf Coast finished 6-6-2 overall, 4-4-2 MACCC South. Pearl River held onto the third spot in the division and advanced with 7-5-2, 5-3-2 marks.
The Bulldogs, who played the entire season without Hannah Salter, also played without usual starters Alyssa Palisi, Journee Wilson and Hannah Holliman against PRCC.
The Bulldogs went to overtime in their last four contest, winning once and losing once.
