GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-0 on the season with a 74-52 win over the South Arkansas All-Stars here today on "Bulldog" Blitz Elementary Day. Students from Goodman-Pickens and Durant elementary schools were on-hand for the game.
The Lady Bulldogs will play Hinds tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Utica.
Holmes led 34-26 at halftime and then outscored them 40-26 in the second half to pull out the win.
McKinna Smith led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points while Lanie Potter had 10. Danielle Luckey led with seven rebounds.
