Lady Bulldogs fall to Co-Lin, 2-1 and 7-3
WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell twice here Saturday to Copiah-Lincoln Community College, 2-1 and 7-3.
Holmes will face Mississippi Delta on Tuesday in Goodman at 1/3 p.m.
Kelsie Travis took the loss in game one. She went six innings and gave up two runs on nine hits with one strikeout. Hailey Lunderman-Ellingburg had three hits while Travis added a double.
In game two, Travis took the loss. She went two innings and gave up four runs on three hits. Malita Chaffier went four innings and gave up three runs on six hits.
Ellingburg, Travis and Hallie Billie each had two hits in game two. Julianna Ingram had a solo homerun while Shawanda Gray added a double.
