RIDGELAND --- The No. 2 ranked Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs and the Hinds Community College Lady Eagles went 110 minutes here Tuesday with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.
With the tie, the Lady Bulldogs went to 3-1-1 on the season and 0-0-1 in the North Division. Holmes will travel to Itawamba on Friday at 2 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs got on the scorebaord in the 30th minute on a goal from Callie McKinney on an assist from Jordan Patrick. Holmes led 1-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Lydia Hutcherson sent one towards the goal from midfield, and it got past the keeper to put Holmes up 2-0 in the 51st minute. Hinds then scored two goals in the second half to tie the match at two.
Neither team could score in the overtime periods.
