Holmes splits with Gulf Coast to end the season
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs ended the 2025 season with a split with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College falling 9-0 in game one and winning 1-0 in game two.
Anne Elise Sartin got the start and suffered the loss in game one. She went four innings. Josie Azlin pitched the final inning in game one. Sartin had a double in game one while Kaitlyn Jones and Lora Ryals each singled.
In game two, Mollie Swilley got the start and the win going all seven innings. She gave up six hits with one strieout and one walk.
Jadyn Miles, Emma Fabre and Meg Glasgow each had one hit in the game.
It was also Sophomore Day in Goodman where Anna Isbell, Jadyn Miles, Gracie Williams, Mhina Balthrop, Kaitlyn Jones, Meg Glasgow, Gracie Boland, Abbie McGee, Lora Ryals, Mollie Swilley and Anne Elise Sartin were all recognized prior to game one.
