Due to Covid-19 protocol, Mississippi Delta Community College Athletic Department has announced the postponement of the Women's Basketball game slated for Thursday, January 6, 2022 versus Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Athletic Director, Jason Conner commented "Due to Covid-19 protocol, we will reschedule with MGCCC at the earliest, opportune time. We want to do what is right and ensure the safety and health of both institutions." "We will be working with MGCCC Athletic Director and the MACCC Commissioner to find a date and time that are suitable for both teams."
Men's Basketball will still be played as scheduled in Wiggins, MS on Thursday night, with a 6 p.m. tip off on the campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Coach Fears and company take the court together for the first time in the 2022 year for a MACCC matchup.
