GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell here tonight 80-60 to the Itawamba Community College Lady Indians.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 6-7 overall and 6-6 in the MACCC North Division. Holmes travels to Mississippi Delta on Thursday night at 6.
Itawamba led 17-9 after the first period. Itawamba took the second period and led 38-25 at halftime. Each team scored 20 points in the third before Itawamba took the fourth, 22-15, to pull out the win.
Morgan Williams led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points including two three-pointers while Jordyn Manning had 15 and Gabrielle Bunch had 12. Sha'Toria Vigne led in rebounding with eight while Manning had seven and Williams had six.
