Jackson, MS – February 7, 2025 – The East Central Community College women's tennis team continued its strong start to the season, defeating Belhaven University on the road to improve to 2-0. The Warriors put together a dominant performance in both singles and doubles play, securing a well-earned victory.

East Central got off to a strong start by winning two out of three doubles matches. Isabella Estrada Avila and Addy Page secured a commanding 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles against Ally Everett and Lillian Williams. However, the No. 2 duo of Noelle Howell and Jaci Willis fell in a close 8-5 match against Evey Moore and Millie Gallarno.
In singles, the Warriors took complete control. Ivanna De Gregorio dominated at No. 1 singles with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 win over Ally Everett, while Nil Kalkavan followed with an identical 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 2 singles.
