
FLORENCE, S.C. – The Indians picked up a win in No. 2 singles as Knox Waterer advanced in the consolation bracket with an 8-1 victory over Evan Bernales of Lake County on Day Two of the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.
Santiago Diaz came up short in No. 4 singles, falling 8-6 to Cole Stoddard of Northwest in a tight match. Luca Hoffmann lost 8-2 to Pavle Markus of Seward in No. 5 singles, and Ben Orr dropped his No. 6 singles match 8-1 to Ognjen Gajic, also of Seward.
Rain continues to cause problems with the tournament, and Day Two was cut short due to weather concerns.
