DECATUR --- Holmes Community College freshman forward Sydney Nester scored two goals including one in overtime to give Holmes the 3-2 overtime win Tuesday over the East Central Community College Lady Warriors.
Nester's goals came in the 55th and 96th minute while freshman defender K'lee Pittman of Brandon scored the other goal just before halftime in the 44th minute. Ravynne Wilson, Callie McKinney and Pittman each had assists in the contest.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 4-1-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the North Division. Holmes hosts Northwest at 1 p.m. Friday on the Ridgeland Campus.
