Lady Wolves Drop Final Road Game

MERIDIAN – The Co-Lin Women's Basketball team hit the road for the final time in the 2024-25 regular season facing off against Meridian. The Lady Eagles beat the Lady Wolves, 88-77.

The Lady Eagles outscored the Lady Wolves, 19-11, to hold a lead by that margin at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Wolves rebounded in the second quarter as the two teams matched scoring totals with 20 points, but the Lady Eagles held a 39-31 as the teams entered the locker rooms at halftime.

The third quarter belonged to the Lady Wolves as they outscored the Lady Eagles, 28-18, and held a 59-57 lead heading to the final quarter of play. In the fourth quarter, the Lady Eagles outscored the Lady Wolves, 31-18, to seal the 88-77 win.

Angel Wilkinson led the Lady Wolves offensively with a game-leading 27 points along with seven rebounds and four steals while Kamaiyah Pruitt (Pass Christian) added 20 points with seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Kylinn Bell (Choctaw) had 14 points while leading the team in rebounds and assists with eight and five respectively. Jamyria Robinson (St. Martin) had nine points, Amari Barnes (Tylertown) had six points, while Maddison Mitchell (Baton Rouge) had one point to round out scoring for the Lady Wolves.

Co-Lin is now 14-14 overall, 4-9 in MACCC play, and will wrap up the regular season hosting Gulf Coast on Monday, March 3. Tip-off between the Lady Bulldogs and the Lady Wolves is set for 5:30 p.m., at Mullen Gym in Wesson as the Lady Wolves celebrate Sophomore Night.
