No. 14 ranked Lady Bulldogs fall to Jones, 8-0 and 12-7
ELLISVILLE --- The No. 14 ranked Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs ended the regular season here today and fell twice to Jones College, 8-0 and 12-7.
The Lady Bulldogs now wait and see to see if they'll make the MACCC playoffs.
In game one, Kelsie Travis suffered the loss. She went 4 2/3 innings and gave up eight runs on 10 hits with three strikeouts. Hailey Lunderman-Ellingburg had the only hit in game one.
In game two, Malita Chaffier started the game and suffered the loss. She gave up seven runs on six hits in two innings with two walks. Travis went four innings and gave up five runs on eight hits with three strikeouts.
Madeline McCown led the Lady Bulldogs with three hits including a homerun. Camm Neathery had two hits including a three-run HR.
