
Women’s Basketball celebrates Sophomore Night on Tuesday
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will hope to celebrate its Sophomore Night on Tuesday by earning that three-woman class a night off.
The Bulldogs can clinch a bye in the NJCAA Region 23 Women's Basketball Tournament by finishing in the top four with a win against Copiah-Lincoln on Monday night. Tipoff at Dantzler Arena is set for 6 p.m.

Gulf Coast needs one victory in its last two regular-season games, or a loss by Coahoma it its last two games, to clinch a fourth-place spot. The Bulldogs play at East Mississippi on Thursday.
TK Catchings (So., New Hebron/Simpson Academy), Elsie Harris (So., Mobile, Ala./B.C. Rain) and Amber Scott (So., Jackson/Hillcrest Christian) will be saluted for their contributions.

- Copiah-Lincoln: 16-7/6-6 MACCC, T-6th place in conference
