
Fulton, Miss. – The Lady Indians picked up a 2-1 North Division win over Thursday behind a pair of goals from sophomore Josie Kate Reeves (Tupelo).
Reeves gave the Lady Indians an early lead as she scored her first goal of the contest in the first ten minutes of the game and extended the lead 2-0 with her second goal at the 27th minute.
The Lady Indian defense preserved the 2-0 lead until Hinds was able to net a goal at the 82nd minute. However, the Lady Indians would hold Hinds to only one goal as they held on to pick up the 2-1 win.
Next up for the Lady Indians is a pair of North Division matchups on the road. Tuesday they will travel to East Central and then to Holmes on Friday.
