
Fulton, Miss. – The Lady Indians dropped a hard fought non-division showdown3-2 to Pearl River Friday.
Morgan Mitchell (Amory) gave the Lady Indians (3-5, 2-2 MACCC North) an early lead with her goal at the 25th minute off an assist from Chloe Walker (Tupelo).
At the 35th minute, the Lady Wildcats tied the contest at 1-1 and took the lead early in the second half off a rebound off the post.
Allison Moore (Mooreville) tied things at 2-2 when she headed in the equalizer 65th minute.
The Lady Wildcats scored the game-winner with seven minutes left to play and held off the Lady Indians to pick up the 3-2 victory.
Next up for the Lady Indians is a road match at Meridian Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
