Lady Bulldogs take two from Coahoma, 17-0 and 12-4
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 18-2 overall and 3-1 in the MACCC after sweeping Coahoma Community College, 17-0 and 12-4.
Holmes will host East Central on Saturday at 2/4 p.m.
In game one, Kelsie Travis picked up the win. She went five innings and gave up one hit with five strikeouts and two walks. Elleigh Willis led the Lady Bulldogs with three hits including a double. Julianna Ingram had two hits including a two-run homerun. Lanie Phillips added a double.
In game two, Willis picked up the win. She went three innings and gave up four runs on six hits with six strikeouts. Hallie Billie led the Lady Bulldogs with four hits including a double. Kelsie Travis added a double.
