The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) strives to grow our student-athletes and our community by creating experiences through Athletics. The MACCC provides numerous opportunities each year for student-athletes who are looking to be sports professionals.
Student internships are volunteer opportunities designed to assist students complete degree requirements and/or develop an understanding of athletic operations.Staff supervisors are assigned and tasked with focusing on the academic success of student interns, and serve as mentors to students under their supervision, and providing them with supplemental learning through their internships.

Prospective interns must meet the following requirements:

Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program

Current class standing of sophomore, (second-year college student) or above
-
Strong academic record
-
Committed and available to work for the entire length of the program

Access to own housing and transportation to/from the assigned internship site

Access to a computer (if remote)

Access to Adobe Suite (if remote)

Ideation, Communications, Operations and Marketing (I-COM) Internship
The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference is seeking students with videography, photography, graphic design, social media or other relevant digital media experience to join their Ideation team. Experience in the fields listed above is preferred, but not required. Students will gain experience both by working inside the MACCC on the MCCB campus during the week as well as at athletic events for the MACCC's member schools.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, Lightroom Premiere and/or After Effects
- Experience shooting/editing video and/or photo
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
