Softball Pitcher of the Week
Brinson Anne Rogers, Pearl River Community College

Pearl River's Brinson Anne Rogers (Statesboro, Ga.) was electric in her three appearances last week against Pensacola State, No. 6 Parkland and No. 19 Lansing. She began the week pitching all 10 innings of a 2-1 victory over Pensacola State. In the contest she struck out 15 batters against one hit and one earned run. She only walked one. Against No. 6 Parkland, she pitched a seven inning shutout with 15 strikeouts. She allowed just one hit. She tossed 2 2/3 innings against Lansing, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out five. For the week, she collected 19 2/3 innings with 35 strikeouts. She allowed just one run and four hits.
Softball Position Player of the Week
Kamryn LaFosse, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
(Fr, C - Lake Charles, La., 21)
Kamryn LaFosse, a freshman catcher from Lake Charles, La., batted .455 with two homer and eight RBI during a 3-1 week for Gulf Coast. In a 9-2 win over Coastal Alabama-South, she went 2-for-3 with a homer a double and 4 RBI. She had a double and RBI in a 7-6 in the nightcap. LaFosse hit a home run and had three RBI in a 13-5 win over Baton Rouge.
