Northwest sophomore setter Layla Dyer continues to widen the gap in the program's single-season and career assists category. In four matches last week, the Lafayette, La. tallied 130 total assists, including 44 in a 3-1 victory at Henderson State JV last Monday. Dyer, who posted 911 assists last season, currently has 547 for her sophomore campaign. As a team, Northwest has won seven straight matches and is 11-6 entering conference play.
