Laylah Johnson, a freshman left winger from Gulfport, was dominant for Mississippi Gulf Coast in the opening week of MACCC play. She had a goal and two assists in a 5-0 win over East Central, then exploded for four goals in a 6-2 win over Southwest Mississippi.
