Coahoma Football Hosts Inaugural 7-on-7 Team Camp
Coahoma Community College hosted its first annual 7-on-7 team camp, bringing together high school football teams from across the region for a day of competitive football. The event featured seven teams, including West Bolivar High School, Ruleville High School, O'Bannon High, Clarksdale High, Yazoo City High School, Fairley High School, and West Helena High School.
The camp format allowed teams to play multiple games throughout the morning, with each game running on a 25-minute clock.
Hill Retires from ECCC after 21 Years of Service
East Central Community College's Scott Hill announced his retirement and will step down from the helm of the ECCC golf team after a historic season on the links.
"I am so appreciative to have been able to return to my alma mater, East Central Community College, and work for the last 21 years. It has been a blessing to my entire family," Hill stated. "What makes East Central such a special place is the people and I am retiring with so many great memories of those I have had the opportunity to coach, teach, as well as work with!"
Gulf Coast hires Allen as new baseball coach
Zach Allen has been named the 18th baseball coach in Mississippi Gulf Coast history, bringing his knowledge of this recruiting area and the relationships with coaches here and throughout the state to bear on building a championship baseball program.
"I'm ready to get going and get this program back to the winning tradition it's had," Allen said. "I'm humbled and excited."

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams.
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
Women's competition is offered in the sports of basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
