Sarah Hardy Named MDCC Head Coach for Cheer and Dance Teams
Sarah Hardy has been named the Mississippi Delta Community College Head Coach for both Cheer and Dance teams. Hardy came to Moorhead from Delta State University where she served as the Graduate Assistant for the Statesmen Cheer Program for two seasons. Her cheer experience during 2020 and 2021 at DSU where she earned the Green and White Leadership Award.Hinds Welcome Back Bash - August 22
RAYMOND, Miss – Hinds Community College Athletics, Student Recreation, and The Hinds Band are excited to announce an upcoming event celebrating its talented student-athletes and students. On August 22, the Welcome Back Bash will introduce the community to all the student-athletes, coaches, band, hi-steppers, color guard, and cheer teams representing Hinds this season. The event will take place at Joe Renfroe Stadium starting at 6:00 PM.
Jones rated No. 1 in United Soccer Coaches preseason poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The defending national champion Jones College Bobcats will begin 2024 in a familiar spot.The Bobcats are rated No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll. Jones finished last season rated No. 1 in the USC poll.
In 2023, head coach Dolores Deasley's team won its first-ever NJCAA Division II national championship with a 3-0 win over Johnson County (Kansas) in the national tournament in Tucson, Arizona.
Jones went 17-1-1 last year, posted 15 shutouts in 19 matches and outscored its opponents, 80-6.
