CONFERENCE CHAMP TIGERS TO RECEIVE COMMEMORATIVE RINGS AT FIRST FOOTBALL GAME
BOONEVILLE, Miss. - The 2023-24 edition of the Northeast Mississippi Community College men's basketball team is reuniting once more to commemorate its exceptional year.
The Tigers will receive their state championship rings on Thursday, August 29 during a ceremony at halftime of football's opening game against East Central Community College.
PRCC volleyball's Haley Chatham notches 100th win in season opener
POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The beginning of a brand-new season couldn't have been much better for the Pearl River volleyball team. Not only did the Wildcats pick up a dominant 3-0 (27-25, 25-16, 25-13) victory over Coastal Alabama, but head coach Haley Chatham earned her 100th victory at the helm of the Pearl River volleyball program.
"The last two sets were closer to what things should have looked like. That was our first time to get on the court this year," head coach Haley Chatham said. "I expected it to be a little shaky at first, but we were lucky to pull it out there in the end (of the first set). Once the girls got more comfortable, it looked like what we expected to see."
Youthful Drive, Proven Success: Coahoma CC Welcomes Hailey, Rockette, and Sipp to Coaching Staff
Coahoma Community College is thrilled to announce Brandon Hailey, Devin Rockette, and De'Anta Sipp as the newest additions to the Tiger Family. Although relatively young in age, each coach has amassed great athletic success.
Brandon Hailey will serve as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach. He was a four-year starting quarterback in Independence, MS, before continuing his playing career at Holmes CC and Cincinnati Christian University. He joins Coahoma from Point University in West Point, Georgia, where he contributed to a successful program turnaround.
