BOYD, NULL TOP FINISHERS AT NORTHEAST'S INAUGURAL CROSS COUNTRY MEET
OXFORD, Ala. - The starter's pistol has fired and the inaugural seasons for the Northeast Mississippi Community College cross country programs are officially underway.
Both Northeast teams made their historic debut at the Foothills Invitational, which was hosted by Jacksonville State (Ala.) University on the 5K course at Choccolocco Park.
The Tigers checked in at 18th among a field that included 11 four-year institutions. The Lady Tigers placed 16th while competing against seven NCAA Division I universities.

Sarah Hardy Named MDCC Head Coach for Cheer and Dance Teams
Sarah Hardy has been named the Mississippi Delta Community College Head Coach for both Cheer and Dance teams. Hardy came to Moorhead from Delta State University where she served as the Graduate Assistant for the Statesmen Cheer Program for two seasons. Her cheer experience during 2020 and 2021 at DSU where she earned the Green and White Leadership Award.
Hinds Baseball to Host Championship Reunion
RAYMOND, Miss. - The Hinds Community College baseball program will honor the 1994 and 2014 World Series teams on Thursday, Oct. 10 in recognition of their 30 and 10-year anniversaries. The college will honor the two teams and their team members on the field at halftime of the Hinds vs. Jones College football game that gets underway at 6:30 pm on Oct. 10.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
