Bauer Added to Lady Wolves Staff
WESSON – Terry Bauer begins his first season as assistant coach with Co-Lin Softball. The native of Mossville attended Stringer High School, where the early mornings and late nights on the diamond paid off by earning a baseball scholarship to Jones County Junior College, and later transferring to Livingston University – now known as the University of West Alabama - where his team finished fifth in the nation during the college world series in 1992. Bauer earned his Bachelor of Education degree in the spring of 1994.
ECCC Swimmer Heads to National Championships
East Central Community College freshman Gabrielle Baldwin, a standout from Laurel and a Dean's List student, has qualified for the 2025 NJCAA Men's & Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The national competition will take place March 5-8 at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
MCC Swim Team Wraps Up Strong Performance at Delta State's Statesmen Shootout
CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Meridian Community College swim team delivered a solid performance at the Delta State University Statesmen Shootout, held January 31 - February 1 in Cleveland, Mississippi. With several season-best times recorded, the meet served as a crucial step in the team's preparation for the upcoming NJCAA Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Nationals in Buffalo, NY, this March.

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams.
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
Women's competition is offered in the sports of basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
