MACCC Academic Awards Released
Jackson, MISS. -- The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) today released their 2024-2025 Academic Teams of the Year.
Northeast Mississippi's women's tennis team received the award for highest overall GPA, with a 3.88. They were joined on the All-Academic Teams list by Northeast men's and women's cross country, and cheer.
Northwest Mississippi had the highest number of teams acknowledged for their academic achievements, with their football, softball, women's soccer, men's tennis, and women's golf earning honors.

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams.
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
Women's competition is offered in the sports of basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
