Women's Basketball
Taylor Johnson-Matthews, Pearl River Community College

Taylor Johnson-Matthews (Cleveland, Ohio; Charles F. Brush) had another unreal week for the No. 11 Wildcats, averaging 18 points, 12.5 rebounds, four assists, six steals and five blocks. On the road at Jones College, she nearly had a triple double, finishing with 15 points, 17 rebounds and seven assists. Against Holmes she had 21 points and eight rebounds.
Men's Basketball
Jahshawne Joseph, Southwest Mississippi Community College
(So., F - Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, 21)
Jashawne Joseph had a strong week for the Bears, posting a pair of double-doubles during a 2-0 run. In Monday's win at Hinds, he had 20 points, 14 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks. He followed that up with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals in a win Thursday vs. Itawamba. He now has 7 double-doubles on the year including 1 in 3 consecutive games.
Softball
Rylee Tittle, Northeast Mississippi Community College
(Sophomore, P - Tuscumbia, Ala., 15)
Rylee Tittle had three complete game, double-digit strikeout performances against solid programs over the weekend. She started off her sensational run with 10 strikeouts, no walks & only 1 run allowed in a 3-1 victory over 11th-ranked Des Moines Area. One day alter, Tittle set a career-high with 13 strikeouts as the Tigers walked off Jefferson College, 4-3. She tied that record the next day with another 13 strikeout performance in a 4-0 decision over JeffCo. For the week, Tittle went 3-0 with 36 strikeouts compared to only 2 walks and a 1.00 ERA.
Kaylee Owens, Northwest Mississippi Community College
(So, INF - Fulton, Miss., 3)
Sophomore Kaylee Owens had a strong week at the plate for the #7 Northwest softball program, as the Rangers went 5-1 with three wins against 11th-ranked Des Moines Area. The Fulton, Miss. native batted .500 on the week with a pair of homers, a double, a triple and four runs batted in.
Baseball
Scott Sharp, Northwest Mississippi Community College
(So, LHP - Olive Branch, Miss., 20)
In his only appearance of the week last Friday against top-ranked Heartland, Northwest sophomore pitcher Scott Sharp pitched a complete-game shutout, helping the Rangers to the 3-0 win against the Hawks. Sharp, a sophomore from Olive Branch, struck out seven batters against one walk, improving to 3-1 on the season.
Keilon Parnell, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
(Fr, OF - Pascagoula, 3)
Keilon Parnell, a freshman outfielder from Pascagoula, batted .583 with two doubles in a 2-2 week for Gulf Coast. He had two hits and an RBI in a 6-5 loss in 11 innings at No. 3 Pearl River and went 3-for-4 in a 13-7 win over No. 4 Lansing. He doubled in a loss to Jones and a win over Illinois Central.
