Reanna Nieman, Jones College

Reanna Nieman, a sophomore from Deer Park, Texas, had another excellent week for No. 6 Jones College. She won both of her starts, went 2-0 and had 22 strikeouts in 14.0 innings. In a 3-1 win at Southwest, she pitched 7.0 innings, allowed an unearned run, five hits, walked two and struck out eight. In a 5-1 win at Northwest, Nieman went 7.0 innings and had a career-high 14 strikeouts. She allowed one earned run, five hits and walked one.
Lainee Bailey, Pearl River Community College
(So, RHP - Walker, La., 6)
Lainee Bailey (Walker, La.) was incredible at the plate last week for the Wildcats, hitting .462 with 9 RBIs, six runs, four homers, three walks and one double. She had a slugging percentage of 1.462.
Baseball
Luke Lirette, Southwest Mississippi Community College
(So, RHP/UT - Houma, LA, 1)
Luke Lirette was lights out in his lone appearance of the week ? a 4-0 win Saturday at Holmes. The sophomore and Southeastern Louisiana-signee went the distance and set a new career high in strikeouts with 14 while giving up only four hits, and three walks.
Marshall Phillips, Pearl River Community College
(So, INF/OF - Sumrall, Miss., 3)
Marshall Phillips (Sumrall; Hattiesburg) put together quite the week for Pearl River last week, hitting .357 with 10 RBIs, six runs, two homers, and one double. He also stole two bases. Phillips was clutch time-after-time, hitting go-ahead home runs in both parts of PRCC's doubleheader against East Mississippi.
