Cara Biswell, Copiah-Lincoln Community College

Cara Biswell had a strong week for the Lady Wolves as they went 4-0. The sophomore from Brandon started her week picking up a complete game win in game one against Hinds and then picked up the save in game two. Biswell then finished her week with a win against Coahoma. For the week, Cara finished with one earned run across eight innings on five. hits with four walks and nine strikeouts for a 0.88 era and a 1.13 whip and a .172 batting average against.
Jayden Sawyer, Jones College
(Fr, P/INF - Mobile, Ala., 27)
Jayden Sawyer, a freshman first baseman from Mary G. Montgomery High School in Mobile, Alabama, had another productive week for No. 4 Jones College. She batted .667 (8-for-12) with three home runs, nine RBIs and seven runs scored. She was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in a 13-5, 5-inning win over No. 5 Pearl River. She was 2-for-2 with two home runs and. four RBIs in a 12-4, 5-inning win over Itawamba. She was 1-for-2 with a single in a 5-1 win over ICC. Sawyer was 2-for-3 with a home run, single and three RBIs in a 5-4 loss to No. 4 PRCC. In then circle, Sawyer was 2-0 for the Bobcats.
Baseball
Caleb Dyess, Pearl River Community College
(Fr, RHP/OF - Carriere, Miss., 7)
With the MACCC Championship on the line, freshman Caleb Dyess (Carriere; Pearl River Central) toed the rubber and fired off a complete game, scattering six hits and one run against No. 12 Northwest. He struck out six batters and didn't walk a batter in the contest.
Eli Huebner, Meridian Community College
(Sophomore, IF - Meridian, 7)
The sophomore third baseman led the Eagles to a 4-0 week to cap off the regular season hitting .500 with 3 homeruns, 1 double and 10 RBIs. On sophomore day Eli hit 3 homeruns including 2 grandslams in the same inning.
