Softball Pitcher
Ana-Grace Garcia, Pearl River Community College
(Fr, RHP - Baton Rouge, La., 1)
Ana-Grace Garcia (Baton Rouge, La.; St. Joseph's) was lights-out across a pair of ranked matchups, allowing just three combined runs against No. 7 Jones College and No. 11 Northeast. The right-hander struck out 14 in 14 innings of work, scattering seven hits and six walks. Her ERA was 1.50 and her WHIP was 0.93.
Softball Player
Abby Lindsey, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
(Fr, OF/P - Decatur, Ala., 25)
Abby Lindsey, a freshman from Decatur, Ala., batted .636 with two doubles during a 2-2 week for Mississippi Gulf Coast. She had hits in all four games, including a three-hit performance in the second game at Holmes.

Connor Gehr, Meridian Community College
(Freshman, RHP/MIF - Gulf Shores, AL, 24)
Freshman Connor Gehr once again stood out for the Eagles in his lone appearance on the mound for the week. The Gulf Shores native pitched a 7 inning shutout while striking out 10 batters and allowing only 2 hits. He also recorded 3 hits, 2 RBI's and 2 stolen bases for the week at the plate.
Baseball Player
Jake Meilstrup, Southwest Mississippi Community College
(So, OF - Brookhaven, MS, 4)
Jake Meilstrup had an outstanding week, helping lead the Bears to a 4-0 mark. The sophomore from Brookhaven hit .571 with one triple, one double, four runs scored and nine RBIs. He also had a .684 on-base percentage and took advantage of that racking-up an incredible 13 stolen bases. He is not only the school's single season stolen bases leader and is currently tied for first in career stolen bases at Southwest but he is also tied for first in the nation with 54.

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams.
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
Women's competition is offered in the sports of basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
