Thompson Earns NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week honors
FULTON, Miss. (via letsgoicc.com) – Sophomore linebacker Jaiyden Thompson (Okolona) has been selected National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Football Defensive Player of the Week, the NJCAA announced on Wednesday.
During the Indians' 36-34 win at East Mississippi last Thursday, Thompson played a key role on defense, racking up a career-high 18 tackles (11 solo and seven assisted) while also recording a sack, two tackles for loss and a pass breakup.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
