Jones' Sakyia White picks up another weekly honor, Itawamba's Josh Lee garners accolades
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Sakyia White, Jones College

Sakyia White, a 6-foot-1 sophomore forward from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, continues to excel for No. 12 Jones College. In a 76-56 win over Southwest, White had 16 points and 21 rebounds to go with three blocked shots. In an 87-58 road victory at Copiah-Lincoln, she had another double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. She averaged 16 points and 17 rebounds per game. White, who has already signed with Florida State University, has double-doubles in 14 of 16 Jones' games.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Josh Lee, Itawamba Community College
(FR, G - Canton, MS, 3)
Freshman guard Josh Lee led the No. 24 ranked Indians to a 2-0 week with wins over Coahoma and East Central. Lee scored 44 points while shooting 47.2%. In the 78-64 win over Coahoma, Lee had a career-high 25 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. In the 80-68 road win over East Central, Lee scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
