Mookie Lampley, Southwest Mississippi Community College

Lampley was key for the Lady Bears this week in a pair of wins. In Monday's 58-55 road win at Holmes, she had 8 points, 8 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. One of her 8 assists was to Veronica Williams setting up her game-winning shot. In Saturday's 68-58 road win over LSU-Eunice, she shined with 25 points (including a 5-of-7 effort from 3-point range) 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Randarius Hughes, Meridian Community College
(Sophomore, F - Heidelberg, 21)
Sophomore forward Randarius Hughes led the Eagles to 2 overtime wins last week. Hughes had 34 points and 18 rebounds in an 83-82 win at MS Delta and followed that up with a 12 point 12 rebound game vs Coahoma. The Eagles are 8-2 this season.
