Freshman Tylik Weeks had an outstanding week, helping to lead the Bears to a 2-0 mark. In Monday's 81-78 win at Jones, he had a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds. He also posted 2 steals and a block. In Thursday's 89-86 overtime win over Mississippi Delta, he finished one rebound shy of another double-double with 24 points and 9 rebounds to go along with 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.
Softball
Jayden Sawyer, Jones College

Jayden Sawyer, a freshman from Mary G. Montgomery High School in Mobile, Alabama, had a quite a game in No. 17 Jones College's 10-3 win over Snead St. Sawyer hit three home runs and drove in six runs in the Bobcat victory. She was also the winning pitcher, tossing a complete game with 10 strikeouts in 7.0 innings. She allowed three runs on three hits.
Natalie Herrington, Pearl River Community College
(So, RHP - Petal, Miss., 2)
Natalie Herrington (Petal) backed up last week's MACCC Pitcher of the Week selection with another dominant week. She made three appearances, throwing two complete games and picking up one save. She only allowed one earned run and struck out 18 batters. She finished the week with a 0.49 ERA.
Baseball
Evan Radford, East Mississippi Community College
(So., INF - Hoover, AL, 26)
EMCC's Evan Radford smacked four home runs during a pair of home doubleheader splits with Snead State to raise his NJCAA Division II-leading total to five homers on the young season. The Southern Miss bounceback also had 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored while going 6-for-14 (.429) at the plate during the four-game series against the Parsons. After hitting a 2-run HR to help spark a 7-run sixth inning in EMCC's 9-7 come-from-behind win in the series opener, Radford followed up the next day to hit two homers in Friday's first game before adding a solo shot in the first inning (his 3rd HR of the day) of the Lions' 2-1 extra-inning nightcap victory in the series finale.
JT Schnoor, Pearl River Community College
(So, RHP - Pascagoula, Miss., 4)
JT Schnoor (Pascagoula; Resurrection) was electric in his lone start of the week, striking out eight batters in five innings against Baton Rouge. He only walked one batter and gave up one hit.
