Women's Basketball
Jakeria Hawkins, Northeast Mississippi Community College

Jakeria Hawkins had a pair of 20+ point performances in a 2-1 week at home for Northeast. She opened the week with 20 points on the dot in a 72-66 win over Bishop State. Hawkins was then the driving force behind the Lady Tigers' thrilling 97-93 double overtime victory over Calhoun on the final day of the Northeast Thanksgiving Classic. She set a new career-high with 36 points and also dished out 9 assists. For the week, Hawkins averaged 20 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
Men's Basketball

Sophomore AJ Dent (Thomasville, GA) shot 69% from the floor to average 23 points and 14 rebounds to help the Indians go 2-0 on the week. In the Indians' 89-70 win at Calhoun, he scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed a career-best 20 rebounds. He added 15 points and 8 rebounds in an 88-58 win at ASU Mid-South.
