Women's Basketball
Jestiny Dixon, Itawamba Community College

Sophomore Jestiny Dixon (Foley, AL) helped the Lady Indians go 2-0 on the week with an 82-59 win over Jones and a hard-fought 76-63 win at previously unbeaten Mississippi Delta. Dixon scored a career-high 29 points and tied her career-best 11 rebounds in the win over Jones. She followed up outstanding performance with 10 points and a career-high 12 rebounds in the win at Delta.
Men's Basketball
AJ Dent, Itawamba Community College

Sophomre AJ Dent (Thomasville, GA) had a big week averaging a double-double to help the Indians go 2-0 on the week. Dent scored a career-best 38 and was 3 points away from tying a modern-day record for most points in a game in the Indians' 92-79 win over No. 7 Jones - he also had 13 rebounds. He closed out the week with 10 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-65 win at Mississippi Delta.
