Jestiny Dixon Repeats as MACCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Davion Traylor Earns Men's Honors

Jestiny Dixon, Itawamba Community College
(SO, G - Foley, AL, 14)
Sophomore Jestiny Dixon (Foley, AL) picked up her seventh and eighth double-doubles of the season to help the Lady Indians go 2-0 last week. Dixon scored 28 points and tied a career-high 12 rebounds to help ICC rally from a 15-point deficit to pick up a 75-68 win over Northeast. She capped off her week with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the Lady Indians' 42-41 road win over No. 16 Pearl River.
Men's Basketball
Davion Traylor, Mississippi Delta Community College
(Sophomore, Center - Ypsilanti, MI, 15)
Trojan sophomore center Daivion Traylor scored 38 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in a 5 point loss on the road at Meridian. The very next game Traylor scored 34 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in home court victory for the Trojans over the Gulf Coast Bulldogs.
