Women's Basketball
Kara Beth Addison, Southwest Mississippi Community College

Kara Beth Addison had a strong week for the Lady Bears who went 1-1. In Monday's 87-75 overtime win over Jones, she posted a double-double with a pair of career-highs in points (27) and rebounds (13) to go along with five assists and one steal. In Thursday's 67-57 loss at Mississippi Delta, she added 14 points, eight rebounds and one assist. For the week she shot a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line.

Louzavious Thomas, Coahoma Community College

Louzavious Thomas showcased his dominance on both ends of the floor over two games, leading Coahoma Community College with impressive scoring efficiency and rebounding control. His ability to finish at the rim, convert free throws at a high rate, and crash the boards made a significant impact on the team?s performance. Key Stats (2 Games Played & Started) ? Points per Game: 18.0 ? Field Goal Percentage: 58.3% (14-24) ? Free Throw Percentage: 88.9% (8-9) ? Rebounds per Game: 12.5 (Total: 25 | 3 Offensive, 22 Defensive) ? Assists per Game: 1.5 ? Defensive Presence: 2 Steals, 1 Block Louzavious? well-rounded performance, combining scoring efficiency and rebounding dominance, makes him a strong candidate for Player of the Week honors.
Softball Pitcher
Ramsey Montgomery, Northeast Mississippi Community College
(Freshman, P - Mantachie, Miss., 23)
Ramsey Montgomery dazzled in her Northeast debut. She tossed a complete game one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and only two walks allowed in an 8-0 shutout win by the Tigers over visiting Jackson State in the season-opener for both programs on Saturday.
Softball Player
Carly Dunigan, Northwest Mississippi Community College
(So, Outfielder - Senatobia, Miss., 22)
Northwest sophomore outfielder Carly Dunigan was red-hot at the plate over a 4-0 weekend for the Rangers in the Sand Mountain Classic. The Senatobia, Miss. native went 8-for-12 over a four-game span, finishing with a pair of doubles, four triples and four RBIs, emerging as the team?s leading batter. Additionally, she came away with a 1.000 fielding percentage for the weekend, accounting for seven putouts and an assist in eight total chances.
Baseball Pitcher
Max Miller, Pearl River Community College
(R-So, LHP - Vancleave, Miss. , 12)
Max Miller (Vancleave) made two appearances for the Wildcats at the Visit Panama City Beach Classic and was fantastic in both. The left-handed pitcher came into the game against No. 24 John A. Logan and punched out the lone batter he faced to secure the save. He earned the start the next morning against Dyersburg State and threw three no-hit, no-run innings, striking out seven and walking one. He finished the weekend with 3.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB and 7 K.
Baseball Player
Madden Butler, Itawamba Community College
(FR, P/INF - Corinth, MS, 17)
Freshman Madden Butler (Corinth) had a big start to his collegiate career. The first baseman batted .545 with 1 double, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 2 walks to drive in 6 runs while scoring 7 more to help the Indians open the season with a 3-1 record. He had a 1.364 slugging and .615 on-base percentage for the week.
