Angel Wilkinson, Copiah-Lincoln Community College

Angel "Cookie" Wilkinson had a strong week for the Lady Wolves as they went 2-0. The sophomore guard from Brookhaven started her week with 34 points, five rebounds, five steals, and two assists in the Lady Wolves upset of the Lady Trojans handing them just their third loss of the season at the time. She followed that up with a 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals in the Lady Wolves road win against the Lady Tigers. For the week, Wilkinson averaged 29.5 points oer game, six rebounds per game and 3.5 assists and steals per game while shooting 55% from the field and 42.9% from the three-point line.
Men's Basketball
Deven Bates, Copiah-Lincoln Community College

Deven Bates had a solid week for the Wolves as they went 1-1. The freshman guard from Jackson started the week narrowly missing a double-double with 15 points, nine assists, and six rebounds in the Wolves 69-65 win against Mississippi Delta. He finished his week once again narrowly missing a double-double with a game-leading 26 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. For the week, Bates averaged 20.5 points per game along with 7.5 rebounds and assists per game while shooting 47.1 percent from the floor.

Lainey Briggs, Meridian Community College
(Freshman, INF - Corinth, 28)
MCC Freshman Lainey Briggs had a successful week at the plate for the Lady Eagles. She faced two NJCAA-ranked opponents, including the #2 team in Kirkwood in which she hit a home run and a walk-off winner in game two of that series. Briggs accolades for the week include a .455 average, two home runs, 4 doubles, 10 RBI's, 8 runs, and a walk-off against the #2 ranked team in the nation.
Baseball Pitcher
Jud Files, Itawamba Community College
(FR, P/OF - Mooreville, MS, 24)
Jud Files (Mooreville) picked up his first win of the season after tossing a five-inning no hitter in the Indians' 12-1 win over Olney Central College. The Mississippi State transfer struck out 8 and walked 2 in the win.
