Women's Basketball
Alorian Story, Northwest Mississippi Community College
Northwest freshman Alorian Story averaged a double-double in a split week for the Lady Rangers. The Ripley, Miss. native averaged 19.5 points per game and 13.5 rebounds per game in a loss to East Central and a gritty road win at Hinds. Story also finished with six blocks in the matchup against East Central. For the season, she has 15 games with 10 or more points and nine games with a double-double.
Men's Basketball
Davion Traylor, Mississippi Delta Community College
(Sophomore, Center - Ypsilanti, MI, 15)
Mississippi Delta Community College would like to nominate Sophomore Center Davion Traylor who had 28 points and 14 rebounds in the Trojans win over Holmes Community College on the road, and he scored 17 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in their loss to #5 in the Country Jones College.
Softball Pitcher
Ramsey Montgomery, Northeast Mississippi Community College
(Freshman, P - Mantachie, Miss., 23)
Ramsey Montgomery had a dynamic week in the circle for Northeast. She started the week by tossing the first 3.1 innings of a combined no-hitter with 9 strikeouts in a 21-0 win over Pellissippi State. She then made three appearances (two starts) in Northeast's TigerFest. Montgomery tossed two-hitter against Roane State with 14 strikeouts and a one-hitter against Jefferson with 16 strikeouts. She also picked up her first collegiate save with 4 strikeouts in 2 innings in a 7-3 win over Lincoln Trail. For the week, Montgomery went 3-0, struck out 43 batters & walked only 3 in 19.1 innings of work.
Softball Player
Madison Holcomb, Northeast Mississippi Community College
(Sophomore, OF - Pontotoc, Miss., 21)
Madison Holcomb hit safely and scored at least once during each of Northeast's games last week. She had three multi-hit games, including a three-hit performance against Roane State. She connected for home runs in wins over Pellissippi State and Jefferson. For the week, Holcomb went 10-16 with 5 extra base hits, 11 runs scored, 9 RBIs and 3 stolen bases with a .700 on-base percentage.
Baseball Pitcher
Samuel Marsh, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
(So, RHP - Monroe, La., 22)
Samuel Marsh, a sophomore righty from Monroe, La., struck out 13 in a complete-game win over Northwest Florida State, last year's national runners-up. He allowed just four hits in a 4-3 win
Baseball Player
Hugh LeMasters, East Mississippi Community College
(So., INF - Bay St. Louis, MS, 1)
EMCC's Hugh LeMasters batted .429 (6-for-14) with 3 extra-base hits, 4 runs scored and 8 RBIs to help lead the 9-3 Lions to a 4-0 weekend sweep over a pair of preseason-ranked opponents (No. 12/host Chipola College in DI & No. 6 Wallace-Dothan in DII) in Marianna, Fla. He had at least one hit and one RBI in all four games. During the two days of competition, the versatile infielder had 2 doubles and a homer while walking 3 times.

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) is one of the premier community college conferences in the country and ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of alumni on professional sports teams.
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer and tennis.
Women's competition is offered in the sports of basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
