Women's Basketball
Natasha Barnes, Pearl River Community College

Natasha Barnes (Chicago, Ill.; Kenwood Academy) had her best week as a Wildcat, averaging 19 points, 6.5 rebounds, three steals and 1.5 assists. She shot a blazing 53.8-percent from the field and 61.5-percent from beyond the arc.
Men's Basketball
Jakobe Singleton, Hinds Community College
(So, SG - Woodville, MS, 15)
Singleton was dominant on the hardwood over the three games played this week. He averaged 27.7 PPG, 96% from the charity stripe, and 57.1 % from the floor. His best performance came on Thursday night against Co-Lin when he posted 31 points in the overtime win at home.
Softball Pitcher
Ramsey Montgomery, Northeast Mississippi Community College
(Freshman, P - Mantachie, Miss., 23)
Ramsey Montgomery had perhaps her most impressive week to date. She struck out 12 batters and allowed just 1 run in a complete game neutral site win over Division I 15th-ranked Chattanooga State. Montgomery had another double-digit strikeout performance (10) in a win over Columbia State. She made relief appearances in wins over Lincoln Trail and Jefferson earlier in the week. For the week, Montgomery went 3-0 with a save with 29 strikeouts, no walks, 1 run allowed & 8 hits.
Softball Player
Emily Mizelle, Jones College
(So, INF - Mobile, Ala., 19)
Sophomore INF Emily Mizelle put up gaudy numbers in a 5-0 weekend for Jones, incl. three wins vs. NJCAA Top 15 teams, at the NFCA NJCAA Leadoff Classic. Mizelle hit .611 with 5 HR, 14 RBIs and 7 runs scored. She now has 10 multi-hit games in 21 played this season and is hitting .435 for the nation's 4th ranked team.
Baseball Pitcher
Connor Gehr, Meridian Community College
(Freshman, RHP/MIF - Gulf Shores, AL, 24)
Meridian Community College freshman pitcher Connor Gehr pitched a gem against Mississippi Gulf Coast last week. The freshman pitched a complete game shutout, while striking out 11 and walking only 1. In a game that ended 1-0, Gehr was truly a spotlight on the mound for the Eagles.
Baseball Player
Parker Hall, Northeast Mississippi Community College
(Sophomore, C - Hazel Green, Ala., 26)
Parker Hall batted .500 with 3 extra base hits, 8 RBIs and 10 runs scored during a 4-1 week by the Tigers. He also reached base safely in 14 of 21 plate appearances for a .667 on-base percentage. Hall had a four-hit performance with five RBIs during game two of Northeast's weekend series sweep over Kaskaskia.
