ELLISVILLE – Samuel Hadley's goal in the 84th minute pushed across the 14th of the match as No. 5 Jones tied a school record for goals in a 14-1 win over East Mississippi.
Jones improved to 11-2-2 overall, 7-1-1 in the MACCC while EMCC fell to 1-14, 0-9 in conference play.
Cameron Chamberlain struck first for Jones in the 15th minute to make it 1-0 Bobcats.
Taylor Richardson and Denim Lombard followed with goals in a 1:34 stretch to make it 4-0 Jones.
EMCC's lone goal came from Noah Verweji in the 25th minute.
Matt Smith scored his first career goal as a Bobcat in the 33rd minute off a penalty kick.
Lombard closed out a hat-trick in the 66th minute and Richardson in the 75th.
Jones outshot EMCC 44-4 and owned a 14-1 advantage in corners.
Joshua Goodwin and Liam McGrath split time in net and allowed just the one goal.
The Bobcats close out the regular season at Northwest Mississippi on Friday and home against Holmes Tuesday, Oct. 24.
