Men's Soccer All-MACCC and Region 23 Teams Announced, Tiago Honorio, Jr. Named MACCC Player of the Year
JACKSON, Miss. -- The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) today released their 2024 Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams and Player of the Year honorees. The teams were voted on by a panel of the MACCC's men's soccer head coaches.
Pearl River's Tiago Honorio, Jr. was named MACCC Men's Soccer Player of the Year. The sophomore forward from São Paulo, Brazil is the first Men's Soccer Player of the Year in league history, and was named First Team All-MACCC, All-Region 23, and NJCAA Third Team All-America during the 2023 campaign. For the current campaign, Honorio, Jr. led the MACCC in scoring and shooting, with a .475 shooting percentage, 29 goals and 8 assists.2024 MACCC Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams
