Emma Jensen Named MACCC Women's Soccer Player of the Year, All-MACCC and All-Region 23 Teams Announced

JACKSON, Miss. -- The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) today released their 2024 Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams and Player of the Year honorees. The teams and honorees were voted on by a panel of the MACCC's women's soccer head coaches.

Northwest Mississippi midfielder Emma Jensen was named Women's Soccer Player of the Year. The Gammelby, Germany native registered 20 goals and 9 assists during the 2024 campaign and helped lift the Rangers to a 4-1 victory over Holmes to claim the NJCAA Region 23 Championship.

 

The Northwest Mississippi Coaching Staff were voted Women's Soccer Staff of the Year by their peers. The coaching staff is led by James Beattie, and rounded out by Assistant Coach Brandon Boren and volunteer coaches Angel Hailey, Brandon Tita-Nwa, Sophie Roberts, Wade Martin, Kaitlin Johnson, and Harrison Daniels. Support staff include Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Randal Pharr and Athletic Academic Advisor Charlesy Kennedy.
